Which images can I extract text from?
Printed Korean and English in JPG, PNG, and WEBP images works best. Results vary with angle, lighting, and resolution.
Does it accurately read handwriting?
Handwriting accuracy is not guaranteed. Clear printed documents and screenshots work better; always compare important content with the source.
Will tables and paragraph layout be preserved?
No. The output is plain text. Reading order and line breaks may differ for columns, tables, or complex layouts, so review and edit the result.
Can I upload a PDF or iPhone HEIC photo?
This tool supports JPG, PNG, and WEBP images only. Convert HEIC to JPG first; PDFs cannot be opened directly here.
Why does the first run take longer?
The OCR engine and chosen language model must download on first use. Your browser may cache them for later runs, but clearing its cache can trigger another download.
