Simpler, more private file tools

We built Toolit to reduce the friction of installing software, creating an account, or uploading a personal file just to complete one simple task.

Each tool follows a short, clear path from choosing a file to selecting useful settings and downloading the result. You should not need specialist knowledge to get the file you need.

Most file operations run inside the browser on your device. Files you select are not uploaded to or stored on Toolit servers for processing.

Your browser may still connect to external services to load processing engines, interface assets, anonymous usage analytics, or advertising and affiliate content when enabled. Those requests are separate from the contents of your selected files. See our Privacy Policy for details.

New tools and major changes are checked with ordinary files, files near the stated limit, damaged or unsupported inputs, and real interaction patterns such as cancellation and immediate retry.

• Chrome and Edge are checked first, with Firefox and Safari compatibility reviewed where practical.
• We verify that settings and results stay consistent during processing, navigation, cancellation, and retry.
• Mobile layouts and lower-memory devices receive honest size guidance where browser memory can become the limiting factor.
• Limits are based on browser memory and observed processing stability, not server storage capacity.

Toolit is built for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Processing speed and usable file size depend on your device, available browser memory, and the file format.

Encrypted, damaged, or unusual files may not process correctly. Review important results for content and quality before using them.
