Privacy Policy

Audio, video, and other files you select are processed only on your device for conversion, extraction, or editing. They are not uploaded to a Toolit server.

Selected files and results are not retained after you refresh or close the page. Only the result files you choose to download remain on your device.

Toolit does not require an account and does not collect or store file names, file contents, or conversion results.

• Theme preference: your light or dark theme selection is stored in browser localStorage.
• Connection data: our hosting and security providers may process standard connection data such as IP address, browser information, and access time.
• Contact information: if you use the contact form or email us, the message type, related tool, message, and optional reply email are used to respond, investigate errors, and improve the service.

The contact form does not accept attachments, and files selected in a Toolit tool are not sent with your message. Do not include original file contents, passwords, or sensitive personal information in your message.

Toolit may collect anonymous usage events such as tool starts, completions, downloads, errors, and cancellations to improve useful tools and identify failures.

• Collected: tool used, operation status, file count, completed-file count, failed sequence position, bucketed processing time, language and device class, South Korea or another region, categorized traffic source, a generalized error code, deployment version, and operator-test status
• Not collected: file contents or names, output files, QR input, exact file size, or a persistent identifier used to recognize an individual user

Toolit may create random, temporary run and event identifiers to connect the start, result, and download of one operation. A new identifier is created for each operation and is not reused to connect separate visits or recognize a user.

These analytics are stored in Cloudflare analytics and database services for up to 90 days and used only for error analysis and tool quality improvements. They are not used for ad personalization or individual activity profiles. Analytics storage does not delay file processing, and a failed analytics request does not affect the file tool.

Toolit may use Google AdSense to serve ads. Google and its advertising partners may process cookies, IP addresses, and device or browser information for ad delivery, measurement, and personalization.

Tool pages visited from South Korea may display Coupang Partners banners. Loading or clicking a banner may send connection and affiliate tracking information to Coupang, and Toolit may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. Affiliate banners are not shown outside South Korea or when the visitor country cannot be determined.

To decide whether to show the banner, Toolit temporarily checks only whether Cloudflare’s visitor country signal indicates South Korea. Toolit does not separately store the result.

Toolit may use Cloudflare for hosting, security, and traffic delivery. Information processed by an external service is governed by that provider’s policy.

Toolit does not retain your files or conversion results. A theme preference stored in your browser may remain until you clear browser data or localStorage.

Contact-form messages and optional reply email addresses are retained in a Cloudflare database for up to 180 days and then deleted. Information that is no longer needed for a response or investigation may be deleted earlier.

You may use browser privacy settings, delete cookies, or block advertising, although some ads or website features may then appear differently.

Toolit is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly provide a service intended to collect their personal information. Parents and guardians should ensure that children do not enter personal information in the contact form or an email.
