File size depends on duration, source compression, motion, resolution, and the selected output quality. Re-encoding an already highly compressed source at High quality may produce a smaller-than-expected size reduction.
Yes. Supported inputs are exported as H.264/AAC MP4. A listed extension does not guarantee that every unusual internal codec or damaged file can be decoded.
Yes. The video track is required, while audio is included only when present, so silent videos can also be trimmed.
